Our Previous Club Meetings:

The club is taking advantage of the longer evenings and has planned a visit on Wednesday, July 6th , to the garden of Christopher and Susie Melluish at Thundridge Hill House in Cold Christmas Lane, near Ware.
Post code is SG12 0UE.
Please make sure you use the zero and not the letter O.
Meet at the garden by 7.15pm. Entry is £5.00pp (paid by members) Refreshments will be available to purchase at £3.50. All monies will be donated to St Mary’s Church in Thundridge.
How to find the garden:
Take the A120 towards Standon. Take the A1170 (formally the old A10) towards Ware. At Thundridge look out for a gastropub called Maltons. Cold Christmas Lane is on the left. Continue along this lane, passing under the new A10 and continue on the lane for about ¾ ‘s of a mile and there is a turning on the left hand side. Take this road and it will lead to the house and garden.

What makes a garden great?
Is it the imposing house, the plants, the landscape or how good their tea and cakes are!?
Andrew Babicz will take us on a journey across the United Kingdom from Sissinghurst to Kew and from Levens Hall to Harlow Carr, where every garden is different and explains why he deems these gardens as “Great”.
He’ll also include the ones with the best tea and cakes!
Illustrated with his own digital photographs.
