The club is taking advantage of the longer evenings and has planned a visit on Wednesday, July 5th, to discover the beauty of the gardens of Mrs Julie Bayliss at Pear Tree Garden, Elder Street in Wimbish.
Pear Trees Garden is a south-facing, almost half-acre garden with open views across farmland to Rowney Woods. The front garden is adorned with a mixture of fruit trees and delightful spring bulbs. The rear garden boasts a mature oak tree and a variety of other trees. Our visit will enable us to stroll through the garden allotment and delight in the diverse selection of soft fruits and seasonal vegetables, as well as admire the herbaceous borders and raised beds. Pear Trees Garden is dedicated to promoting a welcoming habitat for insects and birds.
Post code is CB10 2XA.
Please make sure you use the zero and not the letter O.
Meet at the garden by 7.15pm. Entry cost TBC
